
Stilwell senior Tray Chuculate was named the co-winner of the Wide Receiver of the
Year in District 4A-4. The 5-7, 145 pound senior made the best of his speed and
athleticism while leading the Indians with 59 receptions totaling 792 yards
including seven touchdowns. Chosen as a VYPE Top 100 nominee, the sure-handed
receiver often turned short routes into first downs averaging 13.4 yards per catch as
well as producing a 5.6 yards per carry average on 25 attempts rushing the football.
Adding his 361 yards on kick returns, Chuculate averaged 136.1 all-purpose yards
per game during the 2023 campaign.
“Most definitely, Tray was a key performer for us this year,” said head coach Bryan
Ross. “No matter the situation, his determination to succeed was evident on every
play this year.”
